Our founder and CEO Rohin Dhand is delighted to feature on the prestigious Insider Yorkshire ‘42 Under 42’ list for 2021.
Rohin founded his first business in 2012 and since then, has built numerous successful businesses in property development, construction, facilities management and energy, which all form part of the Dhand Capital Group.
This includes property developer Mayfair Group Investment (MGI), which is not only raising the standard of luxury living in the North of England through groundbreaking residential developments, but also transforming health outcomes in some of Yorkshire’s most challenged areas, through the development of quality healthcare premises, which properly serve their communities.
Rohin has developed an ambitious growth strategy for all Dhand Capital Group brands, for 2021 – 2024, with a focus on driving growth, efficiencies and profitability, creating jobs, partnership opportunities and economic growth. It is this future-focused approach which has seen Rohin not only enjoy commercial success but also the recognition of industry peers through accolades like the Insider 42 Under 42.
MGI continues to develop exceptional property, with upcoming projects including the transformation of a Grade II listed building into an exciting Leeds hospitality venue plus more high-end residential developments in Leeds City Centre. In addition, MGI will continue on its mission to support communities through developing modern, efficient healthcare premises and the developer plans to invest £30m in healthcare over the next 5 years.
Another Dhand Capital Group company, Penguin FM, has seen double-digit YoY growth for the past 2 years, gaining 33 new national clients in 2020 – much of this due to the hard work and leadership of Rohin and his founding partner of Penguin FM, childhood friend Edward Wick.
Dhand Construction has made significant investments in its senior team and is now successfully pursuing high-value contracts for large-scale commercial developments.
Passionate about place development, Rohin works to improve communities through pioneering investments and exceptional property development and management. He supports a number of local and national charitable initiatives and is committed to creating opportunities for future generations, through ongoing apprenticeship programmes.
As a young leader and a key player in the northern property market, Rohin is dedicated to building better businesses, with strong values at the heart of each and a commitment to empowering others to do good too.
Congratulations to all the Insider Yorkshire ‘42 Under 42’ Class of 2021. For the latests news on the Dhand Capital Group, follow Rohin on LinkedIN.
